Join us at the winery for Lailey Vineyard's 10th Anniversary Celebration! Lailey Vineyard Winery is now ten years old, so we are having a party (actually, it's two parties). Saturday September 18th We are hosting a very special event that will feature a multi-course meal, created by Chef Eric Peacock of Wellington Court restaurant. We will pair a wine from each of the ten years that we have been around, even something from the 2010 vintage, with one or more of Eric's tasty morsels. This is an opportunity to drink a wide range of rare wines alongside some brilliant food. Sunday September 19 We are partnering with Music Niagara and holding an afternoon cocktail party and concert. The program will showcase members of the renowned Quartetto Gelato as well as a guest soloist. A line up of specially selected, and locally produced meats and cheeses will be served with our new releases from the 2008 vintage, including a brand new, and as yet unnamed, Syrah dominated blend (it's really good). We have rented lots of tables and chairs but seating is limited, so book soon. Dinner tickets are $120, which includes the concert the following day. Concert tickets can be purchased separately for $30. Purchase yours online now, by email christine@laileyvineyard.com or by phone at 905.468.0503 |

Lailey Vineyard 2007 Pinot Noir, Canadian Oak VQA
A wine fit for Her Majesty the Queen In celebration of the Queen's recent visit to Ottawa, an exclusive luncheon was held Wednesday June 30, at the Canadian Museum of Nature. Ottawa-based Sommelier, Debbie Trenholm of the Savvy Company, was asked to hand pick a wine to pair with each course of the meal. We are honoured that from all of the great Canadian wine available, our 2007 Pinot Noir was selected to be served (alongside a roasted breast of duck - a classic pairing) to the Queen and 150 other dignitaries, during this prestigious event. An "elegant medium bodied wine" chosen for its "aromas of cherry, cranberry & earthy tones that grace the glass with a soft texture of red fruit & fresh ground white pepper that lingers on the palate". Produced in very small quanities, this wine is now sold out! order other great Lailey wines by phone at 905.468.0503, email at orders@laileyvineyard.com or online now |
